Stop in for a cup of coffee

He did seem a little edgy yesterday with Karl and Keefer.... whether he meant to be or not, dont know

in other news, I have a very crazy idea.

I'm bringing home my polara on the 19th, we have a giant cruise in on the 26th. Can I "roadkill" the polara in a week? We gonna find out. But I have a back up plan for the 318 poly if it doesnt work, the 408 stroker from my w200 for the short term would bolt up to the poly transmission!

Want me to ship your wheels?

I have to chuckle a little at the comments we naturally make when someone does something outside of the norm. I just read a book set in a small town where characters said things like ".....seems to me, etc., etc...."
Everyone has their hunches, I'll jump in and say I think Johnny got the car and it just didn't give him the excitement he would have felt at a younger age.

The new buyer is blind. After some time you look and notice. I don't think it lived up to expectations.

Who knows, regardless, it's his choice. Just hope it goes to a good home, seems the thing hasnt been truly wanted in a while, poor car :(

When I first got the Fury, I had some remorse, what the f- have I done getting this big green sedan that smells musty and doesn't run right...but luckily that feeling passed.

Makes my day, Chris, to know I am not weird to feel sorry for a car, that someone else does too! I have come to realize it is not a bad thing, after all that is how I came to own Goldie (unwanted and starting to rust) and find this forum, and make some great friends.

when i go to junkyards, i fight back tears and the urge to bring them all home and save them. I ever win the lottery, it'll be a very very very bad thing for part hunters, i'd be buying up cars everywhere. Meaning id be broken in minutes.

Ok time to run, only 80 deg with 50% humidity, may be weeks before another day this comfortable for driving around, catch y'all later...

I do feel sad at junkyards too when I'll see a car and think wow that was someone's baby and this is what's become of it....

Just think of the BILLIONS of money gone with cars bought new, now in a scrap yard. EVERY car on the road, in a wrecking yard ever crushed, was purchased new at one time. Think about that.....

except new cars, anything newer than about 1980 and I just dont get a feeling for. I think its because by then, robots and stuff had started phasing out the true American worker who's sweat and blood built those cars that came off the lines.

In college, I worked at a budweiser warehouse...

I used to walk through the cooler room and wonder if anybody could drink all of that beer by themselves in a life time... All the cases and kegs stacked up to the ceiling....

so what you're saying is, you spent your college years buzzed out of your mind?
