Something funny as hell happened at the car show yesterday, My car was parked next to a Restaurant/ Brewery called Belching Beaver. A 21 year old guy and his sister wanted to hear car run. So I fire it up, and give it a few revs, and a guy appears and is pissed, I guess I gassed him out sitting in the outdoor tables in the restaurant! Well I said I was sorry, BUT the consensus of the people watching the action, said the same thing, sit at a different table. It IS a car show with muscle cars!!

please tell me you expected nothing less!! so what did you do differently?
This Carb, has four corner idle, so both front and rear has a idle screw that can be set. Im not talking about that little screw you have to take off the carb to get to, but a actual screw that can be set while running. Well it seems, I turned the rear screw down some and raised the front to compensate for the loss of RPM. Seems to have been the problem, along with re curving the Dist. Did both so hard to tell if the Dist. was a problem at all. BUT it runs real good now!!

Not like he was sitting right behind the car. There was a 4 foot tall wall separating the parking from the tables. AND no one else said anything. And he was 20 feet down the line of tables. :wtf:

you probably gave his lady friend a orgasm from the ground shaking

A theme I saw at the show yesterday, was smooth running tame engines. Nothing really Hot. Seems what they run now, if you want some HP, do a LS1 swap and run the GM factory setup. Runs real smooth! AND bought cars, not many self built cars. (I did buy my 69) BUT I don't put myself in that group of guys. I CAN build my own and I have built several NICE MoPars.

Back from another interview. I think it went really well. Now I wait again... Hopefully the next call from them is a job offer.
