Stop in for a cup of coffee

Tuesday was a great day for me I'll take a month of them please.

The rabbit having been pulled from the hat is hopping mad with no place to go.

Would not touch it because of the set screw could come out. Here is what I use.

Hey. Without getting too sentimental, I do wanna say thank you to you all for the advice and forum at which to whine on lol.

Oh and most importantly, the joking haha

Seriously though,
Thanks

I actually found a closeout of industrial bushings which work great since all the initial holes are different, I just do not trust a set screw, I get a lot in that the plastic is gone and the roll pin is still intact, that says something...

I have seen larger ones with the set screw being sold and they have to block the oiling holes on the bottom.

I broke a couple plastic ones trying to get the roll pin out. The metal ones will outlast the both of us.

They suck I always change them out, I have a few nos ones and they have the same issue, the only ones I will reuse are the big flanged ones on the MP distribs.

they are a quick way to tell them apart from the rest.

I get why they made them so they will "pass" through the dist drive gear but geese

Still have not found that one have plenty of other single point ones. Just weird no idea where it went.

Plastic is cheap compared to metal. I could turn those out on the screw machines 3 or 4 a min. Metal or plastic. Meral tubing is spendy and solid bar stock is wasteful. I can see why they went plastic.
