Stop in for a cup of coffee

Does the or will the steel one wear the shaft or something down or is it all non moving parts?
It rides pinned on the shaft with a small shim between it and the housing, the nylon ones are really brittle and are usually cracked, steel or some thing metal is the way to go, I just do not trust a lock screw since it spins at high rpm.

Good morning everyone, yeah Mike usually the full moon wakes me up but not this month for some reason. From what astrologers say best as I can tell this is a good full moon. We are supposed to feel strong and be able to see things about ourselves and make changes. Funny because over the weekend before I read that I realized (shamefully) that I needed to be a lot more patient with certain coworkers.
This faze has been the worst on me, can't sleep over 5 hours, toss and turn all morning trying to get back to sleep ...

Ray I gotta say it is so cool and impressive how you've picked up and schooled yourself on these old testers and distributors in a short time.

Thanks Dave, the testers are pretty basic electronics which is easy for me, the mopar distributors are all pretty much the same, that is why I am only doing those, it would be way to many parts to have around for other makes.

I guess it affects people differently, I know that feeling, Mike, sometimes during the full moon my mind will be racing in the middle of the night and all I can do is get up and drink a cold glass of milk and read for a while. Then go back to sleep but wake up again in a couple hours.
I don't know if it is because of the moon but I really came to see some things in a different way over the weekend.

It seems like fun. I would like to find a new project or interest to try. I get a bit of that when I discover an author I really, I'll read a few of his books. But not quite the same as making or building something.

Ray I didn't know your wife has Crohn's. I can see where the medical weed would help. I've had Crohn's since I was about 13, I am lucky it only flares up once a year or so but when it does it is not fun. I definitely empathize with your wife. After a few years of medicine (this was before the new medicines) I just said screw it...come to think of it I smoked a LOT of weed during that time.

So I've spent a couple of hours in the basement today. What do I have to show for it? A cleaned-out tool box and some de-rusted bits. Oh, and I sorta cleaned the bench.
