Yup. Overheated. Trying to keep the revs up to try and break n the cam a little better. Kids were complaining on the noise. No exhaust and the thing is right under the living room.

I think a fan shroud might be called for ...

yeah i need to take it apart. but I changed my idea somewhat, I want to install a momentary switch that requires it to be pressed as well as the clutch/brake in order to start the car.
