those U shaped clips hold the brake lines to the frame - IIRC
I believe you are right. And to keep the connections from un-screwing themselves on both ends.

I found clips, only too large.

This makes sense, I think.

The brake hoses that were on there had no form lock. An accident waiting to happen, if you ask me.

This looks pretty good, I think. I guess the hoses were the correct length after all. Now I only need the clips.

good morning Sir Anders. nice progress on the car. i found new brake line clips at the parts store. pretty generic part, shouldn't be too hard to find.
Thanks! It feels good to be back at it.

I think you're right. I think I'll go down there and see what they can dig up.

hey - remember that scooter I was fixing for my BIL? I guess it's running just fine... my BIL son and his daughters on it yesterday. *Pumpkin and little Pumpkin*

Anders, If you have any questions on those calipers, try PM'ing member hemi71x (Jim V), he restores these old mopar suspensions and brakes... He's very knowledgeable on them, I bought a few of his restored disc set-ups...

Put that Mallory unilight in the pop yesterday, man what a difference, still have a small curve issue but so much better that the Chinese two wire I bought when I first started this project.

I think I undercharge if you see what some cruddy looking cores go for on fleabay, really do not have any one to compare to, new are all Made my Mao, used are used. They did sell pretty quick at Carlisle for sure, been getting a rash of slant electronics the last few weeks, going to have to get to the junkyard and clean them out of them, who knew!

I have to finish up that how to dist thread before it expires or should I say Karl deletes my work in progress.
