Yeah, now it might not be today, Stan needs to be back by one and the guy wants to meet between 12 and 2 so next weekend. Sucks not having a truck or trailer vehicle on the road. Figured out the fuel pump issue on the truck and it was a rotted out barrel connector. Dorman actually makes it. Runs good again.

She had to work more, so I couldn't bring her home... :sad5:

Karl, you're just not getting how this internet thing works....
The car IS yours, AND the girl came home with you in YOUR new car. (Some details omitted to maintain G rating.) LOL
These are the facts per the bureau of misinformation - till someone cares to dispute them

Good morning, I love this coffee place, nice to read something interesting and funny while starting the day.

We worked a huge wedding yesterday. They spent 6 figures just on the food and drink the day of. A huge band (my ears are still ringing.) Then there was the hotel rooms, golf, spa treatments, meals, wedding planners, decorators, and so on.

Something exciting to share. My sister in Miami recently got her pilots license. She got to spread her wings this weekend, flying a load of disaster relief supplies to the Bahamas. Everything went as planned. She learned that Rum Key is a community where the people feud and grumble and expect the government to provide everything and there's no gratitude. They want to be paid for rebuilding their own houses!

Disaster relief to the Bahamas? There is apparently something going on that isn't making the news over here.

I cranked my engine today with the stock ignition switch, spark and even neutral safety switch connected!

And I mounted exhaust manifolds and mufflers.

All I need is gas and a crank pulley and I'm starting my engine!!!

I WANT TO HEAR IT!!!

Copngrats to your sister for getting her pilot's license and helping out...

My cousin used to have a private pilot's license, but eventually let it expire as too many others were getting licenses and the skies near him were getting too busy...

As far as the people expecting the help and wanting to get paid for building their own houses, I would have turned back and taken the supplies back home. If they don't realize when someone is trying to help them and appreciate it, then they can go at it on their own... :finga:
