Stop in for a cup of coffee

I here you my "parts" money is shot also after Buying shocks for the t
Tikey truck and a tranny I am getting this weekend.

its so worth it .......money is just paper with ugly old dudes on it. To trade for something totally badass. LOL

I am really excited to get the 4 speed here ....its coming freight so wont be here till next week.

Any one here rebuild a 727, I think I am going to try it on the new tranny I am getting.

I did the one for the GTS myself. First one for me. Just took my time, and laid everything out in order as it came apart. Advise I got from an old trans guy. Don't know if I screwed it up yet. It's still on the floor ,waiting.

I always have stick vehicles for myself. Marilyn cannot drive one at all so the "common use" cars have to be auto. I was pondering putting one in the Pop, but figured what I want to do an auto is fine. Now if I found a column for a manual then.....

I really need to beef up one, The one I blew up was a used one so I learned a lesson. I wish I had an extra 1500 around then I would just buy one.

ever since I learned to drive and have ever drove ....all I have ever had were manuals .....a lot of 3 speeds ....even one on the tree.

The only "newer" car I ever had in my life was a neon and even it was a 5 speed, so I weird out with automatics and I tend to "look" for the pedal that isn't there with my left foot when I a driving an auto car.....its a weird feeling. LOL

The disadvantage of 4 speeds is they are very expensive.

I found it odd that none of my friends like manuals ....all of my friends who are girls my age have new cars and all auto and they shy away from manual cars ....like Oh MY Gawd!!!

Yup, I used new Red Alto clutch plates and other heavy duty stuff. Including a bolt in sprag and a shift kit. Followed all the B&M instructions including drilling holes here and there.

I made sure my kids learned to drive in the cobalt (5 speed) Danny had one car that was an auto for a week then brought it back and got a Saturn with a 5 speed, she hates auto's so your not the only woman like that. I do the pedal thingy also when I drive an auto.

That's what I was think to do, but I have an AJ's valve body and a 2200 stall. I was wondering if the input and output shafts need to be beefed up?

3 on the tree is fun. ..... sometimes I wish I could find another one or put the setup back in my dart. ..... parts are hard to find to service all that linkage and once they get really worn out.... they are usually junk

there is really nothing wrong with Chrysler automatics though ....I went through a 904 way back in auto school and I had an old timer teacher and he always said the torqueflight was one of the best out there.

I really like the look of the A-body auto console setup. when its nice and finished. I wouldn't turn one down.

I'm pretty fond of the a-body console myself. It's on my way-in-the-future to do list..

No just an old mans plain Jane one with crushed velour on it. It is in almost perfect shape and goes with the theme of the car.

I have a console for sale as well. .......

I was delayed yesterday finding a box for the air cleaner. ..... it's a really awkward shape lol

I tell you what Harley and Skid Mark are still going at it (playing), to much excitement before my second cup.

I'm actually not sure I will be using mine but I think shipping it to you makes it too expensive.

I've only ever owned and driven (almost) only manual cars. But lately I've gotten tired of shifting so this latest car we bought 2,5 years ago is an automatic. As a matter of fact, it's an Audi Multitronic, you know like a snowmobile.

I love it. It's a 2010 A4 wagon. With the little 143 hp (DIN) 2.0 liter diesel (yes, it is one of the cheating ones) it works absolutely perfectly. No shifting jerks, just swoooosh.

Kind of twitchy when reversing up an incline but I think there's a software update (ha, ha) I haven't got that takes care of that.

Shipping will kill it. There are times like when stuck in traffic I want an automatic.
