Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well lets see. They have been working on the streets in and around my shop since May.
They finally finished about 10 days ago.
Today i figured let me drive over and maybe work on the cuda.
Then i went to turn the corner AND.

Whelp... She dressed up my pole! Now she just needs to hang a sign on it.

That came out very nice, there is a nook by my front door that needs something classy like that, I was thinking an old hitching post but I can imagine how much those cost.

Just for the record I wish I had not gone on a tangent earlier about climate change, it's one year since my Dad died, I miss him, he was so smart, whatever you needed to know, you could ask him.

I see the city Department of holes and crevices has been hard at work again. Looks like they installed a dandy.

We have a Dept. of Cracks and Potholes here. They are apparently over budget!

I think it's a law here that any freshly paved surface must immediately have trenches and holes dug in it for utility work. We wouldn't ever want anyone to become accustomed to smooth road surfaces.

There is a newly paved 5 mile stretch of road by work that was completed this Spring. By August they were trenching it to for new water mains for the entire length. There isn't a smooth spot left on it.

25 years ago when the road crews finished redoing a section of I-76 in Philly, the workers posted big hand painted signs that said "Warning, smooth road ahead!"

I ran out. Good thing the wine and spirits store is just up the street. Last bottle too.

Went to the chiropractor today for my back. He said it's a real mess and started with adjusting my neck before working down my back later this week. It sounded like someone ran over a big bag of walnuts when he cracked it.

Still all hurts like hell and I'm sitting here with a hot pack slung across my neck and upper back. It seems to be helping a little.

Or maybe it's the CEG...

Looks like you can find it in Charleston now. Last I checked you couldn't. I'm in! Been wanting to try it as it seems like a good choice for the winter when you just want something to warm you up and relax you without a mixer or ice.

I was going to suggest going. They have helped me so much over the years.

Good to hear you are feeling better.

Yeah, I've been seeing chiropractors off and on for the past 30 years. They do help a lot. I was just hoping this one was going to resolve itself...but no such luck. It hard for me to take the time off from work to go see one.

Since I'm off the tool truck and taking it easier than before only once a month for me. I do get it between the shoulders from the computer though. You probably have that issue too.

Yep, that's where this one is. I injured it somewhere along the line and the computer work from my job is just aggravating the snot out of it.

Oops, I didn't mean to "like" your post.
