Stop in for a cup of coffee

My wife made put the bottle left from the party on the highest shelf in the kitchen I could. She doesn't want it within easy reach...LOL!
Did she try it? Did you guys get silly?:thumbsup:

Since my fall a few years ago, chiro doesent do it for me. Physiotherapy, acupuncture and manipulation seem to work.

I can throw firewood around fir a day without issue, but give me a carb to rebuild and the deep aching starts pretty quick.

Just the oposite here

I'm just the opposite. I'm deadly allergic to hard work..

Well lets see. They have been working on the streets in and around my shop since May.
They finally finished about 10 days ago.
Today i figured let me drive over and maybe work on the cuda.
Then i went to turn the corner AND.

Jeepers - that's a good one. And what the f is that crap they are using for planking? Looks like PT 2x from the orange box store instead of the proper planks. They should come by Clark Park and take that friggen 1" steel plate that's been on the curb since '03.

SEPTA ? Lemme think. SEPTA who refused to work with the Water Department when relaying track on the 13 trolley line (Chester Ave)? SEPTA who NJT no longer waits for at the Trenton transfer? SEPTA who says things can't be done that are done elsewhere? SEPTA who 'saves money' by putting articulated busses onto city street routes? Don't get me started.

Yeah, I completely understand that. My first back injury was when I was 20 and leaned over the fender of my '70 duster trying to line the tranny and the engine up during a motor swap when the tranny fell off the blocks and yanked me over to the ground, ripping my lower back. About 5 years later, an big overhead garage door collapsed off the tracks while I was lifting it up at my shop and it landed on my head/neck wrecking my upper back.

About 15 years ago I developed an arthritic disc between the uppper and lower back than has fused making each end of my spine work independently and become terribly pinched from the lack of mobility between the two. I can only stand or sit about 20 minutes at a time before I need to get everything moving again and avoid severe pain. Air travel or long drives are brutal.

It ain't the age...it's the miles.

There's that damn like button. Dang Dave. You have been through hell and back. I just fell out of a semi trailer and landed flat on my ***. Didn't do my lower back any good.

Any back injury is bad and the pain is like no other.

In my case, add on my knees that I tore the meniscus out of 10 years ago in Memphis after getting tangled up in a garden hose coming down off a ladder and spent a month in a wheelchair, 6 months with a walker and another year walking with a cane. Between my knees and my back, if I ever stop moving...I may never move again.

My warranty is way past up. But I'm not done fighting to keep moving and doing the things I want to do. They tried to put me on permanent disability back in Memphis but there was no way I was going to ever let that happen as long as I can still fight the pain and keep going. I'm not ready to lay down yet.

Keep it up Dave. Like our last cat, he used up his 9 lives at about 10 years. He lasted 15 or so. You have a long ways to go.

Click on Dave's name in his avatar. It will tell you when he was on last,
