Stop in for a cup of coffee

Ok... now I know why I hate watching Graveyard cars. They just posted a piece of trivia up claiming that the 68 roadrunners came with a 383 that used the 440's 4 barrel intake... can you say FALSE. It may have had a 4 barrel but a 440 intake wouldn't fit a 383.

Any one know if anyone repops the trunk trim panel for a 69 gt?
Nope, they don’t. Best you can do is get one that has been fully restored and they run big $$. The panel is the same for the GT and the GTS with only the metal insert decal being different. Those can be bought separately for around $100.

The one on my 69 has been restored, BUT after washing yesterday, some of the black paint is chipping off. I guess I can repaint it. Thanks...

That sucks. Pressure washer or garden hose?

If you really want to have it done well, have the black powder coated and then polish the surrounding aluminum. Then add a replacement GT insert.

Although, with some of the new powder coating tapes, the masking isn’t removed until after baking.

A real 2 part etch prime really helps paint stay on aluminum. Like duponts Variprime. Spray bomb 1k etch primers aren't about much
