The only thing worse than a cowl induction scoop on a Mopar...is a Mopar scoop reversed to be cowl induction.

I also continued to be amazed by how many people who use the cowl induction scoop don’t understand that unless it is sealed to the carburetor intake, it doesn’t induct air...it extracts it.

And helps suck the heat from the radiator right over the top of the engine into the carb. Heat extraction vents are best used on each side of the engine above the exhaust manifolds or directly behind the radiator.

If you use a center mounted extraction scoop, you’d better plumb another source of fresh air into the carb or you are just shooting yourself in the foot.

Sorry to hear that Dave. Prayers man.

Sorry to hear that. 95 is a good run though.
She had a helluva run, sweet lady. The hardest part is the toll all of this is taking on my wife’s mother. She was particularly close to May and had just gone to visit her when she was up here at the end of the Summer. It didn’t help any that we had just finished making the pre-arrangements at the funeral home for Ben when the news came about May.

Sorry to hear. Not many leave this world due to natural causes. Guess its considered peacefully.

Sometimes I just want to go back to being a kid again, playing with my cars without a worry in the world. Like I was back in 1969...

Yeah, not that I want to pull on the loose threads in the tapestry of my life...but sometimes I wish I could go back in time and explain a few things to my young self.

Don't we all. I think about that a lot but realize that I'd probably be too stupid to have listened
