Only if i were a tax exempt farmer and propane prices were in the toilet, would I consider propane..
No such thing as tax exempt gasoline. Only tax exempt fuel is diesel and it's dyed heavily.

Hello... Just normal banter.. Nascar is rigged. Flying stinks. Ben is sexy. Wolfie is himself. Hoppy is MIA. Mitch is drinkin a Miller Lite and Tike seems to be taking a nap.. You're all caught up now!
I was down the road at Max's house watching Graveyard cars. I took my nap right after lunch

I don't know why any one should be tax exempt.....
The only tax exempt fuel is diesel. It's off road use only, heavily dyed. It's not totally tax exempt either. Only the road the federal and state road tax is removed. About 10-20 cents per gallon . Get caught running it on the road, it's a 10,000 dollar fine plus 1,000 dollar per gallon they find in any storage tanks on your property. And they seized the vehicle

Research facts before making claims.. Limits the number of people calling you a dumbass! Propane used to be fully fuel tax exempt here, and every farmer had propane trucks and tractors.. Made good economic sense then.

Ben D .. That class was a real hoot. It was pretty neat that the other students that were having issues were coming over to ask my advice after seeing I had some experience in such things. I always enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. Next on the list is the TIG welding class. Never done that.

wow that's nuts

I'm on a 2 time a year contract. I paid 340 bucks for 600 gallons delivered in August. That's with a 10% off deal if you pay within 5 business days
I sure wish, I have to use propane to heat, no natural gas and electricity is crazy high...

Ummmm...yeah there is. Farmers can claim a credit for all the taxes paid on gasoline and aviation fuel on their taxes.

“You can claim a credit or refund of taxes on fuel used on a farm for farming purposes. This applies if you are the owner, tenant, or operator of a farm. You can claim only a credit for the tax on gasoline used on a farm for farming purposes. You can claim either a credit or refund for the tax on aviation fuel used on a farm for farming purposes.”

We use propane in our grain bins for the dryers. I've yet to find any place here that sales tax exempt propane. Never heard of it. Used to they'd sale leaded gas with a dye in it that was road tax exempt at the local farm co-op but that stopped nearly 15 years ago.
