Stop in for a cup of coffee

Seems to be working! LOL!

I think this will be a plateau number though. The next two lbs are going to take longer I think.

Usually most diets hit a wall then they proceed.
So what's your trick. vigorous exercise right before you go to sleep?

Just a few cheap LEDs can look really cool.

I’m actually doing something very simple. I have changed my daily energy balance by 200-300 calories through a combination of slight portion reduction and mild excercise. That allows me to reduce my weight by around 3/4 lb per week.

Knocking off 50-75 calories per meal is actually very easy to do and a 20-30 minute walk added is also easy. Adds up to the target goal each day without really trying.

Hmm just read an interesting article. Guy converted a 350 to run on Propane. Got 32 mpg in a monte.

Slow and easy is best for your body.
About 15 years ago the ex and I did Jenny Craig.
I dropped from 235 to 155. Took a year
A lot of people I hadn't seen during most of that time didn't recognise me.
Some thought I was sick.
I felt great. Kept it off for about two years. Then we went on a cruise.

Ray, i know all about the cruise thing..
Food is just too good.

32 mile per gallon of what? You need to do the energy BTU calculations to determine if there is any increase in energy utilization efficiency. Physics says there won’t be.

Propane has a higher octane rating than gasoline (104 to 112, compared with 87 to 92 for gasoline) and potentially more horsepower, but its lower British thermal unit (Btu) rating per gallon results in lower fuel economy.

Agree. Had a 1 ton Chevy 350 propane, 50 gallon tank, poor performance and mileage. And propane cost more then gasoline...

I took the "Ornamental Iron" class at the local JC just for grins. I was welding by the time I was 13, and then 20sum years in Operating Engineers I had burnt a few rods. The instructor had quite a rep as being really good at his craft, so I figured, why not. "You've done this before" he said to me one night. "A little" I says. I got to play with rollers and tools I had never messed with before. They had many examples around the shop to get ideas from, floor lamps, gates, wall hangings. When my project was done, "You have to let me put that in our craft show" he says, "I have never seen anything like that". It was just a Christmas candle holder that would spin or sway. I got to play with scrollers, rollers, plasma cutters, and other tools that just don't show up around rock plants  or asphalt plants.

I have never been real big, but rhe spare tire decided to show at about 50 yrs old. limiting 'restaurant food' and just walking 30 mins in the morning... Dropped 15 lbs rather quickly and feel lots better.. And didn't have to quit drinking.. Life is good!

Food is just too good.
It's not like it was back in the day on some of the cruise lines .
Gone are midnight buffets.
And quality of food.
Still a great way to vacation.
I had an offer from on e company last month .
Free booze if I booked by March 1st.
That's a deal right there.

I may have to see if there is anything like that in these parts. Sounds like a cool learning.

Yeah, the best way to compare energy usage efficiency of an internal combustion engine is output vs. pounds of fuel consumed.

Too often, people use fuzzy math when trying to make fuel economy claims between fuels that use price of each fuel to calculate efficiency comparisons.

Only if i were a tax exempt farmer and propane prices were in the toilet, would I consider propane..

I'm guessing propane
