I have a fully Auto M11 9mm Cobray, Mini Machine Gun, that Ive had since 1982. Yup... Got the legal ATF stamps for it too....Locked in my Gunsafe...

Need a happy (not hoppy) dance emoji.
8 connecting rods swapped. Nuttin broke, nuttin bleedin.
And engine rolls like it should.
I think its a successful day.
And again :thankyou::thankyou::thankyou:

I just got back from the Doc for my quarterly “well visit”.

I like his scale better than mine. According to his records I have lost 20 lbs rather than the 18 lbs my scale shows.
Did you pee in the cup before you got on his scale?

None. I just bought an old plate for $8, took it to the Auto Tag place and they photocopied both sides and put the copies in with the paperwork. They ran the plate number and verified it was clear (not registered) and I walked out with my new antique registration in hand. I just had to pay the extra fee for using the old plate.
And the car was already reg as antique? I’ll just hold with it as is for now. Can change the plate later if I want. Spent enough today...

IMO they should be......JMO!!!! The Assault Riffle 15 HMMMM what is THAT made for I wonder......
Funny, yesterday was the first time I heard that misnomer. Apparently its been around a while.
AR was Armelite (my spelling is not quite correct). There was a pretty good article by James Fallows that appeared in The Atlantic, late 70s or early 80s. It was about the development history of the M16 which was the underlying story behind its failure in the fields of Vietnam. As often happens, at the center of the issue was egos, profits, and too many cooks. But anyway, the AR-15 was the basis for what the military adopted and the AR is the company it came from. Kindof like the B in BAR. (and yes, those problems with the M16 are now long resolved. Unfortunately it cost a lot of lives before that happened).

In my case it was all done together. But the process isn’t any different if you do the tag later.

Unfortunately, no one at IFSJA has been posting dancing bananas for a while.... We can probably find one over at moparts though - I'm sure I've seen them there as well.

And the field guys who first got the plastic M16 used to have a saying about it...

“You can tell it’s swell...it’s Mattel!”

The M-16's we had in basic were made by Mattel...always remember "low bid". Army didn't throw away anything which is probably why we had them in basic. In the 80's one time we got c-rats with a 1952 date on them. We were hungry, and yes we did eat them.

Always wondered where that stuff went the Boy Scouts cleaned out of the fallout shelters.
