Stop in for a cup of coffee

Not sure what fees Runkles adds, but that is definitely the easiest...
I'm back. Done deal. They will call me in a couple weeks when they get the plate. Even though it will be nice tomorrow... after seeing the salt and cinder on the roads from Saturday's storm, I lost interest in driving the Duster for a while longer.

Dam think the tread is messed up went from 331 to 333, not good here we go again!
strange...???
I wasn't having much problem last night when everyone else was getting booted. This AM it was giving me site not found a few times. But, my sucky slow internet does that. No idea if that or the site.

I just got a quote from grundy on the firechicken and the truck 147 each! Way better than 1100, nice to have old cars in a way.

Same here, screw it it gets the count up anyhow.

$163 no temp. Would have had to renew my old reg that ran out end of Jan to use it before I get the plate.
That's for a new antique plate. To use Dad's plate would be another $78 AND I would have to prove my ownership of the plate! Require death Cert, Letter from heirs etc. Not a big deal for me as his executor, but, :wtf::BangHead: Nevermind. It will go on my wall somewhere.

I know people buy old plates. Wonder what hoops they have to jump through to use them????

You see cars around from early 1900's with correct year plates. Obviously not originally issued to the current owner. So there is a way to do it.

Sounds like a hastle to do it! Prob a record search that cost 100 I bet I will ask when I go there just to ask

Time to get my *** off the couch and do something, 70's for the next two days!

Where do you go that is actual pendot? Everything around here is private owned notary etc. I did see a listing for penndot 'counter' in the Burg. I think I paid them about $25 in their fees to process. But as said, I filled out NOTHING. Just sign and pay and its less than 5 minutes away. Worth it to me.

We do it in Md. I have correct year tags for the GTS and The CUDA. They issue a reg tag, you keep under the seat, then you can display the old tag

Hmmm... I could do that anyway. I could put the old tag on when I show it. Just need the real one on when on the road.

Down in Harrisburg right of 81 is the main state pendot, just before the bridge 42A or something, huge building

None. I just bought an old plate for $8, took it to the Auto Tag place and they photocopied both sides and put the copies in with the paperwork. They ran the plate number and verified it was clear (not registered) and I walked out with my new antique registration in hand. I just had to pay the extra fee for using the old plate.

No fees it is on your side of the bridge usually fast. Think the longest I was in there was half an hour, way better than NY or CA!

One of the funniest things i have read in a long time. Please no Political diatribe...Trump's frustration bubbled over on Twitter, where he stressed that the Russian effort began before he declared his candidacy, asserted that the Obama administration bears some blame for the election meddling and insisted he never denied that the Kremlin interfered in the 2016 U.S. campaign.
