Stop in for a cup of coffee

Don't worry - didn't go that deep - just trying to understand the advance. Prob needs some lube up top - there's dried grease flung around inside the housing.
That sounds like a bad **** movie!

Matt you can just see the grease screw on this one

If you have a extra pickup plate for it I can use it for a core I have.

Matt if the grease is dried you need to re lube it, unless it is a core, nothing really special on them just light springs all the reluctor/adv plates are the same on them.

Sent you some pics Ray. No grease fittings. Just a slot cut in the main shaft - maybe it picks up some splash oil ????

Picks up splash oil when you see the spiral then goes up into those rectangular openings all the way up, the drive is greased on the shaft, the plastic washer on top is prob cracked.

BUTT BUTT

OK. Off to the coffee shop for the real thing.
later guys.

I think I have an extra plate for a regular electronic but this one looks a little different?
Two screws from the top to the housing, odd ball I cannot find one. It should be fixed also. Just a shame to core the one I have it is in great shape.

That has Carlisle all over it!

Good morning. So I set the alarm last night for 4:30 so I can take a 20 minute drive up a mountain road to be in position for SpaceX launch at 6:15. Got up looked outside and it's crystal clear and 28*. I says to myself "Self, do we really want to do this?".
Self says "Sure, let's do it". I grab the camera on the way out the door and the appropriate jacket, fire up the Ram and the dashboard tells me "Us tires are cold and we only have 32 lbs and we're going to flash that at you until it warms up". I get to the top of the pass between home and the neighboring village, sky is clear, park the truck and it's flashing dashboard and get the camera ready. Oh boy, it's 27* up here. Numerous other vehicles parked in the very few turnouts along the road to watch the event. 6:15 comes and nothing. One of the other spectators with a smartphone says "They postponed it until tomorrow". The predicted chance of precipitation for tomorrow is already blowing in. Nutz. Time to go home for coffee.
