Good morning. So I set the alarm last night for 4:30 so I can take a 20 minute drive up a mountain road to be in position for SpaceX launch at 6:15. Got up looked outside and it's crystal clear and 28*. I says to myself "Self, do we really want to do this?".
Self says "Sure, let's do it". I grab the camera on the way out the door and the appropriate jacket, fire up the Ram and the dashboard tells me "Us tires are cold and we only have 32 lbs and we're going to flash that at you until it warms up". I get to the top of the pass between home and the neighboring village, sky is clear, park the truck and it's flashing dashboard and get the camera ready. Oh boy, it's 27* up here. Numerous other vehicles parked in the very few turnouts along the road to watch the event. 6:15 comes and nothing. One of the other spectators with a smartphone says "They postponed it until tomorrow". The predicted chance of precipitation for tomorrow is already blowing in. Nutz. Time to go home for coffee.
Figures...

Snap on truck didnt do so well here today. 8 dollars.
13,000 in two years in tools is enough....

The little ring on the impact to keep sockets on. Bought a 3 pack.

I have to admit, I spent a bunch of $ with Snap On years ago. Their Extended Reach/leverage combination wrenches were just what the Doctor ordered when working on rusty/cement coated/asphalt coated construction equipment. Not to mention all the little doodads that no one else had. Of those Snap On tools, at least the ones that weren't stolen in 3 separate job site robberies I never broke one.

I broke one of my 30 year old Snap On punches at work last night. :( But never broke a SO wrench

I was hoping to grill a steak for lunch, but that will have to wait. Got the center of the grill together but not the side shelves. My big hands don't work as fast as the Chinese kids on the small screws in tight spots. LOL. Gotta be in work early today and tomorrow for safety meetings...

Well, looks like I get to tear apart the HEMI tonight. This will be fun :BangHead:
