That’s why you are far more likely to find me in a Harbor Freight than on a SnapOn truck these days. But I spent a few bucks with them years ago...

The sad part is I have on my own will walked onto a snap on van ....many times :(

All my tools are ...Blackhawk, Bonney/Utica, SK tool, Kd Tool, Very few Snap on... Only what I have been given.....LOL

I used to be all about Craftsman and I would only buy specialty stuff from Mac and Snap on....

No more with craftsman ....I am now pretty into HF because I have had HF hand tools break and got free replacements with no hassles and at that,.... I broke them because I was being an ape, but had I used them the way a human is supposed to.........

Yea.....hand tools don't like 6 foot cheater bars LOL

Tools they sell at Oreilles and Advance auto are not bad either.....again most have good warranties and are available, and not priced too bad either.

Yeah, These days, craftsman are junk. They won't honor their warranty unless you have the original receipt. And even if they do, the stuff the replace it with is total junk. So sad really

I don't have any receipts for my old Craftsman tools... How do they expect me to keep them that long...

The combination wrenches cut in half or altered with the help of a rosebud. The sockets welded to the 2" steel shaft for the frequently used hammering wrench. Those tools that get hidden at the asphalt plant from MSHA inspectors, OSHA was a real PIA :rofl:hard to hide stuff from them, they inspected it all. One of my favs was the 24" pipe wrench with that annoying knob at the end of the handle cut off so the 4' snipe could be used on it.

I've altered a few myself... Changed them from useful to junk...
Have a bunch of torched, cut up , bent , twisted tools that were made for some specific purpose so long ago i can't even remember. I still can't bring myself to throw the stuff out being it hasn't been used in decades. lol
