Step 5 .. Remove the lid on the brake master cylinder and use the vacuum line for the power brake booster to empty the master cylinder

70’s full size vans had 904 transmissions?i was out looking for a correct water pump bolt,the flex plate from the last engine/transmission appears to fit the factory 65 barracuda torque.
So im wondering, should i rebuild the newer one and go with the slip yoke? Im thinking i can modify shifter to work.

For sure is a 904. Rear corner of both is angled.
I just fired this Poncho motor for the young guy, lives in the apt. Sounds good, need to readjust the lifters, he went to get a hose for the water outlet, so it doesn't leak all back on the engine, anymore than it has. Lol
I for one don't like seeing someone to do that to a perfectly running, it seems, engine.

Any idea how bad it is?
For general leather cleaning and care, the products from Chemical Guys are about the best. If it is really dirty, you need to use Meguires D10101 all purpose Detailers cleaner concentrate diluted with water 4:1 (4 parts water) in a spray bottle.
In both cases you need a good leather cleaning brush to get into the grain and crevices and repeated cleaning may be required for tougher dirt. Chemical Guys make a nice horse hair cleaning brush that works well.
Always follow with a good leather conditioner when you are done. Both Chemical Guys and Meguirers make good ones.
