Stop in for a cup of coffee

Just got a message from my friend in Memphis that rents my house there. His wife pulled into the garage tonight and when she closed the door, the mounts ripped out from the wall. This door and all hardware was replaced just under a year ago. WTF?

He is calling the company that did the work tomorrow. We will see what they are going to do about it. This should never have happened, someone f’d the install.

I am just one hour away from Memphis Ddaddy, if anything goes bad south and you need a person/friend to put an eye on something just let me know

super nice two day in a row, started raining again last night and is still raining this morning, 55 degrees this morning and scattered showers today

Good morning men (Ladies if Rainy pops in) .

Any garage door i have hung, has no drywall under the brackets. I use plywood and real lumber. The torsion bar works hard, and drywall breaks under the brackets.
My shop door,10x10 was fun. Its parts and pieces i scavenged. Door itself was new i bought from kijiji, rails and spring were from a door that was removed and scrapped. My torsion spring is 6” diameter, its big. Somehow its been working for 3 years.

Well Doc went well for the wife yesterday just have to get a ok from another one of her docs and she is in, should not be a issue at all.

I had a cable break on the rv side door 16x12 no way I was messing with that one called a guy in $50 and fixed and piece of mind, hate messing with them springs. The other side I have hit with the tractors ROP bar so many times I had to change out the bottom panel the bar has just a inche of clearance when the door is up! That side I will mess with. 8x12

Oddly enough, I just installed a new garage door tonight.. Replacing a 40 year old woiden door. And for the record, garage door replacement SUCKS ***! (and not in the good way)..
Took me and my Son, two days to install these rolling steel doors in my shop....Had to hoist the curtain rolls into

Morning all. I went to urgent care yesterday for my leg/knee. The wrapped it with a Ace Bandage and gave me a prescription for Meloxicam. I will say I am feeling better. Still sore and stiff but at least I can walk. They still didn't address the source of the problem. That will take a few more office visits and more insurance money. LOL

I got an email today ....with pics .....

of a 72 scamp from a local guy I know of.

Clean car, dead 318 and dead 904 (missing the pan and has guts hanging out)

Totally rust free car as typical for the area.

He says to come get it for 4 bills because he has a baby on the way and wants it gone to clear the garage out.

YAY!!!!
