Formula 409, scrub, rinse, dry and then follow with Windex.

Philly air is 80% cheese steak exhaust.

I may stirred the pot in a couple of threads this afternoon :rolleyes: No offense meant. Like to see folks figure out whats wrong before buying new parts. :)

This picture over in Moparts was pretty funny. Mr E-b-g posted it as proof that's its OK to mix DOT 5 with the other types of brake fluid.

Thanks. I assume most of the aborbotion of odors is in the plastic trim.
Any need to freeze it ? (in case there's mildew or mold??)

So my ankle is feeling better and I hired a personal trainer.
4 days a week.
Should be in fighting shape by july.

Freezing won’t help, the mildew spores can survive that. The 409 surfactant package breaks them up and renders them inert. The Windex follow on kills anything that survives the 409. The combination won’t harm the plastic or the glass mirror.
 
Use a toothbrush to really scrub the 409 into the surface of the plastic and let it soak on there for about 15 mins keeping wet with respray as needed before final scrub and rinse. Mildew can etch plastic and anchor itself deeply in the plastic surface.

Thanks Dave. I only have the Spray 9 right now. I'll pick up some 409 this week.
 
Blast cabinet up and running again. The new gauntlets were smaller so i had to invent a work around. Tire machine and balancer back up and running,so im ready for the deluge of seasonal tire swaps.
