I always had junkers in HS with nice rims!:rofl::rofl: First thing I put on. Only real nice car I had was a 66 mustang 289 all stock one owner.

Man it is windy here and cool which is a good thing for me maybe not crap out from the humidity today!

Morning.
More rain. And cold.
Wanted to wash the engine compartment, see if that black paint will blow off. Not today.

Looked at chris’s photos.
I feel so much better about fixing up my dart.
That man is determined if anything.

Soap it up and leave the hood open and hit it in the heaviest rain!:poke:
Its clean. The previous owner painted it. With what? Dunno.
Never had an engine in it since.
Im questioning his prep work.

Or nuts. One of the two, the jury is still out on that one.

Day two now involves yanking the engine. Should be easy, only two bolts left

Compared to the spare I bought over the winter, that is much tighter and looks to have been rebuilt at one point. So swapping the engines over.

Used to get them made up as needed.
There was a guy in the area that bought up some tooling and cable parts, been trying to find out if he still has. I would like to get my hands on it.
