That uneven knob wear is common. The best way to even that out is to regularly cross rotate at 5k intervals.
That's what she said...

Could have been she had to get proof of insurance to get it back or re validated I think.gotcha
thats a lapse. That is different. Insurance companies that are canceling a client for reasons other than non-payment have different rules/laws they have to follow or they can get fined, up to 50,000 USD per offense.
.
I would be back at the place you bought them sayinggotcha

Right. I've ran this brand/model of tires since I first bought the jeep. This set however, was just put on the the Friday after Memorial day. They dont even have 1500 miles on them.
I'll try the car and video idea though.
thats possible too. Whats stupid is here in Indiana, the BMV as a cost cutting move back in the 90s made it to where all you have to do is provide insurance at the time of registration and renewal. They no longer have real time/updated monthly insurance data. This has led to a spike in uninsured and underinsured motorists as people get insurance long enough to show the BMV as having it to renew/register and then cancel it. They even made it to where police aren't allowed to ask for insurance information during a routine traffic stop.Could have been she had to get proof of insurance to get it back or re validated I think.
tried that. They told me to "go add a steering stabilizer"... my jeep has one. And I just replaced that in Feb with a very nice Bilstein one.I would be back at the place you bought them saying

How many tires are giving trouble? Have you rotated to see if problem moves with the tire?
if it moves with tire, I would call the store. If no action, maybe tossing it on the managers desk would help.yep...
1, right front. and doing that tonight.
yeah. for sure. we'll find out shortly.if it moves with tire, I would call the store. If no action, maybe tossing it on the managers desk would help.
As it's driving or just idling?Solid front axle- with vehicle running, have someone apply brakes and rock steering wheel. Thats the only way to check for track bar wear. You need to watch both ends.
If its loose you will see diff moving side to side.
Yup,,,You'll have to strap yourself under the vehicle, and go down the road with it.................As it's driving or just idling?
highway speed in a hard turnYup,,,You'll have to strap yourself under the vehicle, and go down the road with it.................
Idling in park, silly me. How could you watch track bar while its moving? Set up a camera/phone? Come to think of it, i need a go pro...As it's driving or just idling?
A rope through each window to steer....Yup,,,You'll have to strap yourself under the vehicle, and go down the road with it.................
That's kind of what I was thinkingIdling in park, silly me. How could you watch track bar while its moving? Set up a camera/phone? Come to think of it, i need a go pro...
I think a go amatuer would be just fine for me...i need a go pro...
I would be ok with a kinda-want-to stay-home amateur...I think a go amatuer would be just fine for me...
And, I believe illegal...Selling me a ten yr old ******* tire is bull crap.
Yep.And, I believe illegal...
There is actually such a law. It doesn't ban the sale of tires that age however it states that tires older than 6 years old are not to be sold as new tires and must be sold as used tires. What law is that? Only a few states have laws regarding the age of tires being sold new and there isn’t a Federal one. The state laws are small fines only.
Also, according to ABC news, the NTSB placed regulations on tire distributors against the sale of tires older than 10 yearsWhat law is that? Only a few states have laws regarding the age of tires being sold new and there isn’t a Federal one. The state laws are small fines only.
