Stop in for a cup of coffee

I didn't see the heat index. Just heard' over 100' for a few days. I think actual temp is supposed to be low 90s today and 96+ tomorrow. With the humidity that is enough to totally suck.

Hopefully it's cooler for a long enough time either early or late cause I wouldn't want to be out in that during mid day

This is actually great that we get a heat wave now. With the way our weather cycles, If it does this now we are not likely to hit these temps again till after Carlisle.

Just took a quick look at weather.com, says "dangerous record breaking heat"....that's not good.

Why I don't pay much for cores.

So, the wife comes home yesterday, and comes out to the shop. She says " My car is making a crunchy noise in the front " What?? WTF is that? Her.. " Yeah it crunches when I push on the brake pedal thingy " So I test drive it, needs front brakes. Sooooooo. I order the parts and pull it into the lift bay. Wait till the parts get here 4pm. I go to take the wheels off, left, no problem, Right side...Uh Oh.... It has these BS stainless cap over nut taperd POS lug nuts on it. So the stainless outer spins on one lug for the right side. Try hamming smaller socket on , No dice...Outside is spinning on the inner nut. So I take my miniature air saw and cut slices in the outer so I can remove it. Then I try sockets on the inner nut, No dice....Now I'm thinking split the nut to remove it. Try small chisel and hammer. Bends the chisel. I grind/modify a chisel for my air hammer. Made one nice and small and narrow. Cuts ok along the side of the stud, but won't get into the taper, so the nut will split. Now I'm 2hrs in , trying to get the DAMN wheel off..LOL ....Ok..lets try drilling....Drill 6 1/8 holes along stud and into taper. Enlarge to 1/4 each hole. Hit the remaining wall with air hammer chisel . FINALLY...WTF 3 F'n hours to get the wheel off. Then I gotta go to the parts store myself, cause its 7pm.. Come back, install new stud, brakes, DONE.... 4 HOUR BRAKE JOB....:BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

Is it a bad thing if the fireworks I bought say "warning, known to cause windows to break. Use at least 1500 feet from structures containing glass windows"

Ouch

Wow that sucks!!! Been there done that! I had one on my dodge truck the cap had come off and i didnt know it so when i put my 19mm on my impact and bam stripped it bigger than crap so i had to take a 17mm and drive it on with a hammer to get it out! Then buy a new lug nut and 17mm socket lol

You know.... I rarely use the AC in my shop. If I leave the overhead doors closed and run the ceiling fans, it stays comfortable in here. If its 95 outside, it'll be 80-85 in here....Mostly due to the shade trees and the fact that on corner of the building is below ground level...

Well good people, I actually got my/ours Carlisle passes in the mail yesterday. Sooo I am thinking, there are two extra passes waiting for me in will call. Good for two more cars! Seems like they can be of use.....4 more free admissions!.

I kind of wondered if that would happen.

Not exactly the same thing but my wife had a C section, spinal block did not work, she was feeling everything, they had to put her under. I didn't like any of that, I can imagine what you were going through.

My wife had a similar experience. I was in the delivery room with her. They start to do the spinal block her leg starts twitching out of control. "Is her leg supposed to be doing that?" I ask. Gas passer mutters "Oh ****".

Well it did. Well off to see my Dentist. I have to get a cleaning. Every three months. Plaque issues. I would rather get kicked in the, well, you get it..:(
