Had hernia surgery yesterday so that ice bit feels good

I like the fresh air vents in the 67 - 72 a bodies...

I call them "crotch boxes".... You wear some loose shorts and open the vents in the summer and it goes up one leg and down the other... Keeps everything cool.... :D

Today was supposed to be our Open House but we have 2 offers on the table, one is 10k over asking so we're going into the real estate office to take a look at it, expires tonight at 9 p.m.

It must have been our lucky day yesterday, the wife also "qualified" for a local radio station contest they do every summer here. We will go to a party where she and 99 of her closest friends will pick a remote and try to open a garage door. It's a "7 car garage", the prize we would select is the Kubota tractor package, tractor, trailer, zero turn mower. I qualified last year, there were only about 20 remotes left when I went up there...….30, pick 30 Rich.....Damn!

Hey. I woke up closer to yesterday than i wanted to.
Moon is too bright. Others snorting.
That happens...
That's how I troll....
uh huh

But today I'm second....second to nun.:D
Never knew that about Karl

I'd like a week in the mid-upper 70's for Carlisle please....oh and I mean temp not humidity.:p
Doubt that will ever happen, but don't look bad so far in he forecast. Still way to army for accuracy though

Good Morning All! Happy weekend to those working stiffs (like me)
working tonight ...
Good Morning

Now I can focus on getting the Duster that's in the garage mobile. Tried to not pack up any parts or tools I'll need for the front suspension work. Have torsion bars, one A arm, rotors/bearings, wheels. I'm hoping I won't need air to seat the upper ball joint into the knuckle, thoughts??? How long would you guys estimate this work "might" take, I've never done the torsion bars, bought the car this way. Had it a long time to be in this state, pretty sad, although I've done other things.

3-4 hours if your not changing control arm bushings. Do not use vise grips on the t bars one Knick and they will crack. Also they are marked right and left.

I already put the bushings in, gotta figure out things like which direction to install the cam bolts, not so worried about indexing, just want to be able to roll it onto a trailer. Won't even have shocks on it.

One thing we did accidently pack up was the service manual but we think we know where it is, will look for it today.

I think the nuts go towards the outside of the bracket if I recall correctly. I can crawl under the polara and check for you later

I'm hoping things like the torsion bar boots won't give me too much trouble, can't really use the house if I was going to try to warm them up in water etc. Lots of grease I guess. There are some good step by steps on this site for torsion bars, I'll review those first
