Stop in for a cup of coffee

When I built the engine with Asa and Cliff in Tulsa about 5 years ago, it was low of 111° and high of 114° for the whole week that I was there....

We would work in the garage for 45 minutes to an hour, then go inside for a cool down break in the house....
That's what I was doing for a few weeks, but stopping altogether about 2pm. Now I can stay out there all day.

Mid 70’s today, nice!
Not to hot to go picking in 60’s A-body parts pile.
Cant remember what he has.
Grilles, maybe...

Do you know much about Honda cars...

Son's 92 Accord keeps no starting when warm... Intermittant.... He's had it to two shops now and it still does it....

A guy that I work with is into Honda's and says it sounds familiar, but it was the end of the shift and we were all beat and he couldn't think straight, and said he'd try to remember over the weekend...

????

I am not aware that he has an overheating problem....

When did this start??? Have you talked with him recently???
A while ago said it was running hotter might have been through a pm. Told him to ask you could have been anything was just a bit hotter like 10 degrees or so.

That may have been before we changed the distributor and played with the timing....

Might have been, life is a blur here lately so busy.

Weekends are my time to catch up on the sleep that I don't get during the week...

I still haven't been to bed yet...

I need to go to bed soon.... I gotta take the kid to the DMV this morning to replace his lost ID's and they close at noon....

As in no spark,no fuel or no crank?
Spark- is the igniter. Cold water on it should prove it.
Fuel-a pressure gauge will tell all
Check your battery too. They can act up and low voltage can drive ecu nuts.

LOL doing burnouts in the handicapped spaces! Just caught that!:rofl::rofl:

That's at one of forest preserves down the hill from me.... It's pretty deserted and a good place to test your launches....

If you look, there were only two or three cars in the parking lot, and they were pretty far from where we were "testing"....

I live in the second house across the street from the forest preserve here... There are 5 different picnic areas within 1 mile of my house.... One of the entrances is across the street from the neighbor across the street from me.... (If you can follow that....) I can be in one of the picnic areas within 5 minutes walking from my front door.... Of course I don't do the burnouts in the one closest to me.... There are many to choose from not far from here....

IT cranks but no start...

I told him to check for spark next time it won't start...

When he runs in to get his beer at the gas station, he comes out and it won't start... If he tries again 5 - 15 minutes later, it will start.... But lately, it has been getting hard to restart when it happens, and I had to tow it to the shop behind my truck last time it happened and it wouldn't start even after the usual 5 - 15 minutes....
