Stop in for a cup of coffee

This is why I do it
I too have been fortunate with developing great contacts in this hobby. I am doing “Day 1” restorations on both cars and have been lucky in finding some extremely “un-findable” parts from the wonderful people (such as yourself) that are willing to sell them. It’s all about networking to find each missing piece of the puzzle as I’m sure you know.

If you have correct, OEM rotors, I will gladly take 1 for each car as well for 75.

Thanks again Ray. You have helped me get one step closer to the finish line…

Edge. Yup. They list one caliper kit. Two different rotors. 296 or 320 mm
Caliper kit is for the 320 mm rotor. Car has 296.
Swapped rotors and put it back together. Road test- its stoppier.
Seems less pedal effort and brakes really well.

I haven't said it very well, but you have been a great help to me as well. Seriously.:thankyou:

Okay, back outside to try to un"f" whatever I've screwed up or missed.

Do you have the engine block properly grounded back to the battery?
It's grounded to the frame and firewall in two original spots, factory spots, just new wire, plus the battery cable attach Point on the head

so spark occurring between towers? Im stumped.
Dave mentioned engine ground.
Ohm the coil wire? Rule of thumb
Max 1000 per foot.

Iffn it was me,which its not i would pull #1 plug. Roll it over to top of compression stroke and set crank at 0 degrees on timong mark. Pull cap and look at rotor. Is it pointing at #1 coil tower?
No?
Put cap back on,mark centre of #1 coil tower on distributor housing.
Pull cap and align mark on distributor housing with rotor.
Now you are close. Can turn distributor a couple degrees to advance if you like, but should fire as is.
Driver side front is #1.odd bank.
Passenger side is even.

Rinse and repeat.

I'm not that young haha.

So, I've completed every test from Page 1-18 to page 1-29. But can't complete the dizzy test as I've not got spark there. Ran thru those steps. Very last thing it mentions is testing the spark plug wires or changing them. But I'm still not getting spark to the dizzy. I think I'll go back out and swap the plug wires out and see what happens.
did you ever get spark from the COIL?

To wing! To battle! To war!

For blood must flow this night...to quench the lust of the fiery moon.
