Yee Haw! I just got a $707 refund check from our house/collector car insurance.
 
well. that's it. I'm officially stumped. Swamped in the new coil that is supposedly the right one this time, no spark still. Swapped out Hoppy's points dizzy for a spare that came on the other poly, still no spark at the plugs. Only thing left that I can think of is plug wires, which are also brand spanking new, though they are cheap ones. Taking a break, then gonna swap those out for a set of my 408 which runs, so I know those are good.

Got spark out of the coil wire but not at plugs? Rotor maybe?

Rotor or mismatch between the cap and rotor. If the rotor has a spring tab on top, the button will be solid. If the center contact is solid, the center cap post will have a spring.
 
Mom he is lost on this no reader to plug in already sent him the How To. Just not set up right, wrong coil etc.....

I'm not that young haha.

So, I've completed every test from Page 1-18 to page 1-29. But can't complete the dizzy test as I've not got spark there. Ran thru those steps. Very last thing it mentions is testing the spark plug wires or changing them. But I'm still not getting spark to the dizzy. I think I'll go back out and swap the plug wires out and see what happens.

Do you have the engine block properly grounded back to the battery?
 
Easy shi$ get two jumper leads put one on the battery positive Then take another one on the negative side of the coil put he ignition lead in your mouth while hitting the remote switch. Then if you don't respond about two minutes I will call 911 for you. If so yes the ignition works can still be 180 out if you think so do it again. Tried and true method! Turn the dizzy 180 and repeat?
