Stop in for a cup of coffee

-
Just came in from the pool patio , had a few Marquritas, feeling not much pain... I have tons to do on my honey do list. "Well, you had fun on your little trip with your friends, NOW you NEED to do..................":BangHead:

There's always a catch.... :BangHead:

Well, how is everyone evening going?

I've been running around with the youngest son all day today...

We went shopping for a new faucet for the main bathroom that the old faucet broke a week ago and won't turn off, so we had to use the shut off valves to stop the water from continuously flowing...

Then got some groceries...

Then went to get the U-haul trailer to pick up the Scirocco that he just bought.... U-haul gave us the run around for a while, which is a long story best saved for another post...

We got the Scirocco home and unloaded it and loaded up the Porsche to take to my buddy Doug's house so he can get it running for the kid....

Hung out with Doug for a while, then went to drop off the U-haul trailer because it has to be back by 9:00 AM even though we picked it up around 2:00 - 2:30 and they charged us for the full 24 hour rental... WTF???

Just got home a little while ago and am now settling in....

I didn't get a chance to catch up on sleep today so I need to get some tonight and tomorrow morning...

Then get some time in the morning to change the faucet in the kid's bathroom...

Here's some pictures of the 16 valve Scirocco that I mentioned in my earlier post today...

Just woked up. Dam dog.
Oh well, got my coffee.
Then brekkie, and then back to pole shed. Should be a nice day.

Hey gear heads.....
Been loading up the Barracuda, heading down the road an hour and a half to a car show. Wife is visiting her Mom this weekend, so taking my neighbor who's always hanging out when I'm working on the cars. He was thrilled when I asked him.

I bought it for the car to have in the tool box. I am actually impressed with it the tach and dwell is right on the money. Has it all except condenser checks. But you can do that with a volt/ohm section of any meter if needed to see if it is good/usable.

I have way to many meters around here need to start selling a few.
I imagine you have a few.
I bought a power probe 10 or so years ago. Love it. Also the circuit tracer. It only led me astray a couple times, but the trusty test light saved me.

I actually had to buy this lot the other day was priced just right. I have a old *** snapon current indicator has never failed me on dc shorts. And a load light is a great tool also.

The current indicator is great, combined with a light and a flasher inline makes it very handy.
I remember using one years back.
Found a short/melted wires in an a-pillar.never would have found it.

Some of the old school stuff is amazing. Would love to have a TDR but for the price not worth it for me. Hey ever talk to that guy about a copy of the autopar book? Been IDing them by picture but suck it is slow going.

This is pretty cool it also has a light and a whistle. Pull the #1 plug put the whistle in. rotate the motor when the whistle stops you are at TDC. install a ight onto the points so when they close it is at tdc. Install the disk on the rotor and as you turn the motor it tells you what cyl is TDC. So simple but genius!

Ray, i have to connect with him soon. Not sure what his schedule is like. He has a few pieces i need.
Will try to arrange a loan of the book or at least get some pictures.

Pics of the mopar application points and cond Ignition stuff would be great as long as it is readable. I am finding a bunch of ford and gm stuff mixed in. Hey ever figure out what parts from the cuda you want? Tailight is yours what about window regs? Just make up a list I will send it to you in trade. That was appreciated for sure.
