Stop in for a cup of coffee

Yup it was on the lift and he tried to get it out. Should have moved the car forward to get past the post. Rick sent me a quote on those panels will go through Larsons for them, just want Chuck to make sure that is what he wants.

I have the Radio Shack analog multi meter also... Love it for all but measuring resistance, it seems the newer digital meters are more accurate and repeatable for measuring resistance/ohms...
Yes low resistance measurements and having the features to audibly check diodes, continuity, rpms are all handy.

Got to love the old school stuff though!

I rebuilt the brakes on the Valiant wagon to be 10" drums back in the 90's, but have since reserved a set of KH discs for it... Now I have to decide if I want to remove the brand new front 10" drums and replace them right away, or run them for a while and then convert to disc later...
I'd run them unless there is some issue. If you can't get decent linings Firmfeel carries a semi-metalic lined shoes, Porterfield and Rochester Brake will reline and arc.

Chris if that harness does not have Packard 56 plugs buy a assortment and the crimper, makes life so easy plugging into the oem stuff.

Well first casualty on the Barracuda, Stan was taking the bucket seat on the passenger side out and hit the arm rest and broke the base.:mob:
Grrr. See if you can find out what type of plastic and then 'weld' it. The Wagoneer's got a lot of plastic parts that are ABS. Acetone dissolves it, so has been pretty good for doing chemical weld repairs when the break has been clean.
For the grill I needed a 'cement' that was thicker. Being too cheap and lazy to go buy ABS cement of the right color (this is a beater vehicle), some ABS pipe cement worked great. its got acetone and some related chemicals in it. Did a much better job than the epoxy and plastic glues I tried before.

I have to look at it basically he popped the two screws that hold it on through. Prob will find a good one don't want little stuff like that on this. way to low mileage. Did finally figure out why it was painted. She backed into something and the rear "valance" pan was changed. It is actually gold with red over it!

I do have one of the cheapo plastic welders might try that and see what happens.

Beautiful weather here. Supposed to last through tomorrow. Gonna do a show with the Duster tomorrow, just a few minutes from home at a shopping center. Will get moving here pretty soon and give Cinnamon a sponge bath.

What up George? Got the Mitchiemobile ready for paint yet? :poke:

I think while you have his car he should go visit the hill and help @memike get Victoria done.
I mean it's not like he has anything else to do. :poke: @MOPARMITCH
Just been doing plenty of welding. Mitch has a few other cars he's playing with over there.lol

So. I changed my plan for the day. Drove buddy’s truck home last night, i have it for the day.
Ordered all new brakes.
So hes getting his brakes fixed in exchange for helping with pole shed. Wonder how long it will take him to figure it out?
