Stop in for a cup of coffee

@toolmanmike the buddy went to look at the Swinger 340 4 speed. The guy had a 15 car collection behind the house Superbird, RR convertible, A & E Barracuda's, all original cars, all in great condition. Anyway he put a down payment on a 70 white over dark brown Duster bench, auto on the column.

He wasn't at coffee this morning so the other two and I are plotting to talk him into the Swinger. He wanted a 4 speed, and we know in a few weeks if he buys the Duster he'll be crying the "I should of" song. He's got a Duster now, and has had it several years.....WTH!! We have until Monday.

Got my coffee. Didnt have to go out.
Wife’s cousin invited us to stay at her house,mighty nice considering we have never met unitil yesterday.
A couple more days and i get to go home.
I’m the uber driver. At least its a nice rental. 18 4runner.

The last week or so though rain, rain, rain. As much as we needed it I wish it wasn't all at once.

We had all ththe 90s most of last week. Crazy rain end of week. 90s again this week so far. Friggin steaming out there! They will be spraying for skeeters now. Starting to hit areas that flooded last Friday.

Guess I'll take a look at this Acura in a bit... Not looking forward to drilling and tapping Alt bolts.......

Pull the engine, fix the holes, and put the engine back in, give the guy a bill!!!! He will crap his pants at the cost....
 
There was frost here in drumheller the other night. Thats too early. Is about 40 here this morning.

Been getting a few calls/ texts for work, looks like i will be busy when i get home. Not a bad thing.

so, looks like i might get to ride out a hurricane next week.
 
I send the Acura up the road. Someone has already dicked with it. Drilled holes off center, cause you cant even get straight on one of em...I dont need the money.....Looks like many hours to repair it...Maybe even pull the engine partially. Has 200K on it....Bye...Bye...

I haven't watched the weather that close and don't know exactly where you will be, but if you are seriously taking 2 little kids into a likely hurricane -you're an idiot. If not really going to be that bad and you are saying it for dramatic effect... Well, you're still an idiot. :poke:

Good decision. Job like that i just quote high.the issue with trying to fix it like building a jig to drill a proper centered hole takes time.
