Stop in for a cup of coffee

Morning guys. Pardon me while I backread a page or two.

Well the buddy rented a dual axle open car trailer yesterday, to go get his Dart Swinger. Told him the local rental place he chose was a bad one and to check it over well before he left.
On the way back, in the middle of nowhere, the trailer had a double tire blow out. No harm to the car.
He called the rental company and the guy said your responsible, your on your own. He called and cost him $775 to get two tires purchased, brought out, and put on.
Needless to say he's pissed. Wife who's a lawyer with the Attorney General's office is going to talk to Consumer Protection and see if he has any recourse.
Sad experience.

Depending on the terms of the contract, prob will need someone who qualifies as an expert witness to examine the tires, wheels and damage for an assessment on cause.

I hope he took pics and kept the junk tires. I had a buddy have this happen as well, in Indiana, if you don't have the evidence, judges just throw it out

That's :bs_flag::elmer:

Buick Enclave. Rear wheel bearing. Stuck. Really stuck. Took 2x longer than i quoted:BangHead:

No upcharge. I get em next time.
Different with customer supplied parts. Then its whatever time it takes. I get a good discount on this line of parts. So it kinda makes up the lost time.

As long as i make my wage every day, a little extra time doesent bother me.

Arggh I need to do a timing chain and gear job on my 96 Dakota.
