Stop in for a cup of coffee

Another one from the pair of Turkey Buzzards. With a face like that, it’s no wonder they are more comfortable around dead things...

My somber image of the losses from the CA wildfires. Houses gone, dreams destroyed, and a much loved vintage truck turned to a charred pile of waste...its melted aluminum wheels cast out on the ground in rivulets of melted dreams...ruined into nothing more than slag.

We still get plenty of mail...mostly bills and cards for holidays and birthdays.

Besides, you missed the point...once again. :poke:
Hey Dave, can you invite me to the calendar private message? Thanks

This stupid company is killing me. Their deal with the Chinese buyers has slowed to a crawl, and no chance of closing by the end of the year. Which means, any severance is delayed until after the new year.

Then the CEO last night wrecked his back on air flights and is out of commission (couldn’t happen to a nicer asshole) and sends his Chief Medical Officer to Australia to cover the shareholders meeting for him. Now the CMO is pinging me from down there desperately to support him to be prepared for the meeting.

Add to that, the Chief Operating Officer is suggesting stupidly risky strategy and the Senior VP of Regulatory is asking me how to do her job and which decisions to make..and I have to corral and refocus them.

Jeezus...look guys, you want me to bail you out? I get $500/hr to answer your questions (any part of an hour gets billed as a full hour). You want me to be a constant resource? The price is 30% of your pay...and you do the work, I only advise. Between the 3 of them it would be over $350k per year on top of my current salary.

I am so sick of this ****.

Those are same as mine. I got blanks from member @gunbunny at Carlisle. I think $5 a pair. I got mine cut at Ace. He can cut them too, but did not have machine there.
If you need keys, let me know what you need.
The 64-66 trunk keys are unique. They have a flat side and a grooved side.
The 67 trunk keys are odd too. But you can use a 68-up trunk key on those, but you can't use a 67 on older. The grove is longer on the 68-up. It's okay for it to be longer, it just can't be shorter.
To muck things up, Chrysler used a trunk lock set that could cover 64 and up all years. All they did was add several levers to adapt to what you needed. There was also the fact that they were pricey. You would pay $10 for a trunk lock for a car that worth $100. No one was doing that. I've seen a lot of incorrect cylinders out there. So I like to see what you got to get you the right thing.
The ignition are all pretty much the same. The heads look different. The square head ignition key was used on most cars that that thad the ignition switch on the dash, the pentastar keys were for column ignition. The thing is, if you were to buy a car and wanted a spare key, the parts dept would likely have the pentastar key blank. The square blank cost .75¢ and the other was only .25¢
I can cut your keys if you want to send me a key your not afraid to mail. No extra charge, I'd cut them at Carlisle and Mopar Nats if i could get electricity. I don't want to run a loud generator and I need at least 20amps for the cutter.
But the price for the correct 64-66 Mopar NOS keys is more than $5. I do have ilco keys that work and I have the colored aluminum keys too.
Oh, BTW fun fact, the pentastar was first used on keys in 1964. I had a guy accuse me of trying to rip him off because he wanted the correct key for his 63 Dart. He refused to believe me when I told him he didn't have an original key. I have those forward look alum keys, but they're pricey.

It's a nice, somber image Dave.
As to the fire:
An entire town wiped out, so sad. And even sadder, is the somber fact hundreds are reported as missing. Even if 90 percent are found safe and sound, the death toll is going to be massive

On my phone, computer just don't want to find a connection this morning

The book has a bunch of good info on trouble shooting and specs for 70 some of engines

Yes they do, have similar ones. Think I sent Chris a old delco how to tune book a while ago.
Think Hawk was making meters for sears way back.

Spent most of yesterday on the run. Wife had some xmas shopping to do. We'd had some light snow on the street so I was elected driver. Mall on a holiday is not my place to go. I dropped her at the door and she called for the pickup.
Wet sanded the ashtray, the dash and parts are ready for paint. We just need some warmer weather.
Guy I rent from called yesterday, and told me the end of December I was out. I knew he was trying to lease the building, and had been for five years. Well its happened. I was on a month to month so back to square one. At least I have time.

I will be glad when this windy cold front is gone :( 34 for the high to day :wtf: to cold for this time of year :BangHead:
