nice! my favorite Ebay "trick" is to under cut the going rate by 10-15% - I get $$ and the buyer gets happy... win win
I don't think mine had anything on the straps and pretty sure I put them back that way. Original top was like really heavy roof tar paper. I glued 2 layers of EPDM roofing together to replace it.Was considering using a bicycle inner tube cut to size to replace the old rubber insulators on my fuel tank straps, any other ideas for that or for the top of the tank, other than ordering from a supplier like Classic?
But really for as much work as it was...If you don't already have the material, I'd probably buy one. Thanks! I have a roll of the old roofing felt/tar that has an adhesive on one side. I think I can use it layered. I think I also have the original out in back still on the tank I can use as a template. I'll need to modify it a bit for the FI tank. Thanks for the input. Much appreciated!
I think there's more going on then just quarters, and inside the trunk had been re-sprayed at some point.
