I was in town the other day, sun was out and warm, no wind, kinda day that gets the fun cars outa the garages. '64 Impaler ragtop pulls up next to me and the Hemi Express with the Rap music just blastin'. Well our Broadway is a state highway so Caltrans is in charge of it's operation and maintenance including the timing of the signal lights. On a good day, 6 miles of Broadway with no red lights. Then there is the opposite which it was that day and every red light that Impaler was right next to me . After 2 or 3 signals and the F word used frequently in the Rap he was listening to I had to increase the volume on the XM Radio so I could hear the Steely Dan. The next light I saw him reach over and turn down the volume on the Ghetto Blaster, he sat there for a moment listening to my tunes and smiled . Light changes, he toys with the air bags, though not to the hopping stage, smiles again and off he went 
I'm going to be in Carlisle Wednesday morning.
