60 is bad enough, just throw in a slipped disc and sciatica. Some days i wonder if i will make it to 70..

I've got the same issues and past 70 now. I live with the pain everyday but I don't think about when I'm doing something. At least that's the secret I found.

The hernia on my L4 was so long it crept up and tucked itself into L5 which they operated to remove as I couldn't walk with sciatica and drop foot. Still have a little drop foot cause the nerve was pinched too long. I do feel a lot better though. Knock on wood.

Done

Welding done. Coat of rust paint on inside. Just 8 or so plug welds to hold inner tub in place.
Could i be done tomorrow? Hope so. Probably not.

Entertaining

Morning, see Craig is Going Postal! Its that time of year again need it fastest put even 1 insurance on it, better tracked by the postmasters.
I wished it worked that easy all the time. The past couple weeks, my two packages one 7lbs and the other 17lbs have been on a USPS adventure. According to my USPS tracker one made its way from Arizona to Kansas City the mail Hub and then to Topeka my area distribution center and sat for the next six days. My Florida package also went through Kansas Cit to Topeka and then sent we don't know to Springfield. Mo. I went to my local post office and got little to no help. I called the national post office customer care team, and they just made a report and offered no suggestions. Finally, after being told, I couldn't go to the distribution center I went anyway they have a mail and package drop off window. I explain my package problem and a supervisor was called he took my tracking numbers and pulled up the scanned pictures of the boxes where and when they were last scanned. The box we thought that was in Topeka was actually in Kansas City. The other package was in Springfield. He sent a message to his counterpart at those two locations. They will find the package and manually place them in the right bin to sent to my post office. Finally some progress. A few hours later I was informed both packages were on their way. Like many of you know no one takes better of care of you then you. At times we just have to take charge and get it done.

@ZMan67S I ordered a part that went from 15 minutes east of Austin to Austin to San Antonio to Austin to San Antonio to Baton Rouge to San Antonio to New Braunfels to my mail box. Lol

And you couldn't go to the distribution center. Craig says :hold my beer".

Here is what happens according to my post master. Every day at the end of the shift all packages have to be in the bins to get picked u;p for the next leg. So when they are busy they just fill the bins to get rid of them. Seriously every year now this happens with all the on line shopping. Hell they deliver packages here on Sunday now!
