I think the killer was that he was a defensive guy and the team defense got worse through the season. They have a couple of halfway decent, young quarterbacks...that are running for their lives and playing from behind. Not surprising they are making poor decisions late in games.

New England fans are unkind on a good day, never mind when a team is just bad.
