Good evening
Perfect!Just a quiet evening last night with my daily driver. Meant to post last night but just never got there! Watched some Cowboy TV with a good buddy, Hemi laying at my feet, small batch in hand. Just a super mellow evening. PS Cowboy TV is a camp fire.

Picked this up at Starks today. The online tastings sounded positive. Anyone tried this one?

Nope. Here's their copper pot still. Ain't she a beauty!"Pot Distilled"?
Does that mean it has cannabis additives?
No. Sounds like I need to though. LOL@toolmanmike you ever read this?

The first volume in the series has a sizable section on illicit adult beverage production.

The first Four books are the best. They kind of went down hill from there.Overall they're informative and entertaining. Kinda like encyclopedias from the Appalachians with a sense of humor.
Door looks great WV, those big doors are a pain in the butt. They seem to always have leverage on you if you are by yourself.Still going.
Hoping to hit happy hour by 10 pm local. Squaring the new door has been a ball buster

I think I have the first 5 volumes. I Found another reference book regarding distillation, but I don't think the mash would lead to a good consumable product. Now if you wanted to take the jet drill to the Duster and raise the CR to about 14-1 it would work well. It's all about making methanol fuels in your back yard. The first Four books are the best. They kind of went down hill from there.
Those look nicer than in the store. Love them, but the darn things go from hard as a rock to brown and mushy way to fast
Wish me luck. Their regular stuff is real good. I hope the single barrel is really good. View attachment 1715790659
I tried a barrel proof a couple years ago that was delicious. I hope this is half as good. It's the chocolate malt they use. You can barely smell it and it shows up in the sip, mid to late palate and sticks around for a while. (I am sipping on their regular offering)I'll throw myself on that and spare you

This has a faint hint of a single malt Scotch with some rye spice and that hidden chocolate.Very nice...I like the subtle finish of really nice Bourbon
