@toolmanmike and others who may be interested

From 7:15 p.m. - 8:45 p.m. EST, the Speed Art Museum in Louisville, Kentucky, is hosting an online auction featuring some of the most cherished examples of American whiskey ever brought to bottle, with all the proceeds going to support education programs and exhibitions at the institution. It’s free to enter the bidding as long as you register at artofbourbon.org before the start of the event. Here’s a rundown of what you’ll be competing for once the lots go live…

Just something I found in the news

I had a crazy day and it's time to relax. I'm having a few sips of Fireball and it's tasting good.
We have been getting together in the morning over a cup of coffee and no reason why we cant get together at night for a toddy. Cheers!

From the very first post. Have you tried Fireball and creme soda? Get the mix just right and it tastes like a cinnamon roll.

Tonight's tasting. It is a 4 sample Blind of craft distillery products. We found only one was very good but it was fun to nose and taste different spirits. One was Legendary Rye from here in Iowa, one that I had never tasted and it reminded me of sour milk. Yuck!

These lids are great but I should have used it before the gnat did a back flip in my bourbon. Of course I was able to get him out.
By picking him off my tongue. :BangHead: Good thing the alcohol kills the germs!:rofl:

Spanish Tapas bars... you place a slice of bread over the top of your beer to protect it from such things

Well that was fun! The local grocery chain had some allocated bottles that the manager hid around the store. Mot were in plain site but not where you would look for them. Some in the wine, some in the beer cooler, etc. It drew quite a crowd playing "Hide the bottle".

Mike...had this the other night... "Smoked Old Fashioned"

Amazing

Wasn't a fan of the glass when it arrived, but the snifter shape retained the smoke so each sip brought it out. Amazing

House made bitters to boot
