Stop in for a drink.

I've had both... enjoyed the Larceny
The 1792 is a Bottled in bond and a private barrel pick. It is very good. It would be really nice if it was barrel proof and not just 100 proof. The Larceny is batch B523 which is a fairly new release for the fall. It is thick creamy, vanilla, caramel, butterscotch, toasted marshmallow goodness. Easy top 5 in my collection.

I will check the vintage on my Larceny, it is down the hill in the instructors lounge and I am up on top of the hill at the big house. Translated, I ain’t walking down there! Hah! I will also check my 1792, it was good enough to become a daily driver for me here awhile back. Since it has been so hot I have been on a Gin binge. Once it starts cooling off I will resume our regular scheduled viewing!

I have just 1 of each of those. Both were shelf bottles and nothing special. THese two are heavy hitters compared to my 2 old bottles. No comparison.

Roger that! Thx!
We really really need a good store down here. you are very fortunate where you are at.
We have a few good ones but all goes through the state here. BS as far as price and availability. These bottles I got came from out of state. The 1792 from Wisconsin and the Larceny came from California.

I think I saw a couple bottles in your possession. LOL. It is good.

Ted stopped by to taste the new EC C923 that just came out. I bought an extra just in case he liked it. He was wowed! We also compared the 1792's we had. A small batch bottled 2 years ago compared to a fresh bottle Ted bought last month. Also a Bottled in bond that was a shelf bottle against a BIB barrel pick. All were keepers but all were different. Oh by the way, Ted left with the extra EC I picked up. It's one of those top 10 bottles that I own.

Obviously illegal to share but it should be public record. We can access that info here through the state's site. I look there daily. I found out about my last purchase that way.

You can access the standard inventory... but they do exclusive "Bottle Drops" that are random.

They are intended to get people to go to the store

In fact we have a "Highly Allocated Lottery" with drop information.

Most of the highly allocated stuff is just 1 bottle per store so getting 1 is almost impossible. Those are usually saved for in store lotteries. The Elijah Craig I got was a case of 5 that was dropped. I had to drive 30 miles west to get them but worth it.
