If you follow You Tube. Scott on My Bourbon Journey lost his pup. He is doing a fundraiser for Wisconsin Terrier Rescue. I donated and offered a Bookers sample pack for a give away. The whiskey community is like the Mopar community. Giving for a cause.

Well for whatever reason I have been on a Gin tear of late. I think due to the heat. Thus far for me Hendricks for the win with a splash of ginger ale. I tried the vaunted Tanquera, no go for me. Way too much juniper berry. I mean I wouldn’t turn it down if you poured it for me but at this point I like Hendricks. Any suggestions from a more educated Gin pallet would be much appreciated. I don’t know Gin from Sin!

I have switched to Tito's and tonic for that exact Juniper reason. (and I don't drink vodka tonic that OFTEN).

I signed up for this yesterday. Quarterly, they send you 4 different 50 ml. samples (I believe) of whiskey/bourbon. You taste them blind and have fun with them. They will give you some hints as to what they may be. You get online for the answers. They do barrel picks at craft distilleries for the samples and those bottles are available to purchase. You can sign up to try one time or get a discount for a yearly subscription. I chatted with the owner and he offered a 10% discount. If you want to try it use my discount code WATERLOO10. It looks like fun to me. By the way 4 50ml samples. 200 ml is 6 3/4 oz. so enough to share with friends. That's what Ted and I are going to do. Split the cost. It's Thirsty Thursday. What's in your glass? My glass is etched. It looks dirty but it's not. I need to toss it but it is perfect for everyday. If I break it, no biggie!

I am still on a gin and Ginger ale kick! It is very refreshing when I am soaked thru with sweat and done for the day.

I switched from Gin and tonic to vodka tonic but I might need to try some gin and Ginger. What Gin do you like?

Thanks it is an island in the kitchen I use to do all my prep work when I cook. I think it is like 13 ft by forty inches. All I know is it weighed just over 800 pounds! The installers were cussing me profusely!
I bet but is solid and beautiful.
