Stop in for a drink.

That's some nice stuff.
Pure as the driven snow.
I found a couple of the last bottles in a lakeside grocer with a incredible liquor selection in Michigan. I had a feeling I would find some there due to the pandemic affecting tourism. About an hour drive. Took the Challenger.

Wife is on a diet as most females do right before summer. I am just collateral damage as she cooks like I need to shed weight! As a result no beer for me moving forward. She goes on this diet thing and I change up to just plain sipping whiskey! Got to watch my girlish figure don’t ya know. Lord knows I could shed a few pounds! Likely a Glen of some kind in my future tonight. And yo TMM I had a bottle of Fargo rat holed for this years MITP with your name on it. Wonder what I should do with it now???????????? Road trip perhaps?

Cheers to another Monday in the books!

Mmmm. Just had some nachos and A Nahrwal Imp Stout I found lurking in the back of the fridge.

One business that's absolutely BOOMING since this whole COVID deal is my local homebrewing store. It's been a great time to homebrew! Kegged a red ale last night and brewed a pale ale tonight.

I like Rye myself. (a new found friend) I belong to a whiskey tasting group. We sample pretty much everything. Highland Scotch is good. Some whiskeys and bourbons are good. It depends who distills it.

Some bourbon , some whiskey ...... cannot seem to acquire a taste for scotch. Tried a few. Not for me.
Lowlands Scotch is the peated stuff. Not a fan there. Interesting history there. There is literally a highway that divides the two and how they are produced.

I once thought that I didn't like scotch. It turns out that I didn't like CHEAP scotch. I have bought several bottles of Balvenie Caribbean Cask 12 year old. Obviously, there is a huge difference between the cheap stuff and the good stuff.

Damn, no lemon slices for my wheat beer!
