I spent a lot of time in the store yesterday. Annoying the staff... but whatever.

Amazing the number of whiskeys "Distilled in Indiana". I know you told me this, but I just started really paying attention. Especially since I am very interested in being as "local" as I can be.
MGP was the commercial distillery. Midwest Grain Products. They sold their juice to a huge number of upstart distilleries. THey need 2 year old Rye or 4 year old Bourbon to legally sell it as that. It has changed to Ross and Squibb and started selling a couple of their own labels. Remus, Rossville Union are 2 of their private labels.
 
The good thing about 'Scotch' is that is must be by law distilled and aged in Scotland for at least the first three years of it's life. :thumbsup:
