Streetmaster to Airgap

First of all, Stocker's get most of the ET in the 60 ft. Start with 4.88's and a 5400 stall. 2nd of all, they use about 320 duration to keep the rpm's high. Many will spend a few grand on getting the "most" from what may be a bad head from the factory. All the rest of the HP is hunt and peck

Bingo! This is what he is trying to not say but just focus on the heads power ability. He hasn’t defined “What is power” yet.

Very Good point. But the heads need to flow enough air to make enough power for you to use it efficiently. So back to the original question. Can a 302 head flow enough air to make power?
Certainly if you get over 200CFM , which has been done.
once again, efficiency is the key.

“You” have not. Define power for us. Not what the car does.

How much power does GTX John's little 318 302 headed engine need to make to push his 4000 pound brick down the 1/4 in 11.83 seconds?

You'd think he'd know this, genius he is.
It's almost as if duration makes more power at a higher rpm with the same flow..

Of course, he won't actually define what power means in the first place. He's also obviously not impressed by a 20hp gain, so he must have some super secret knowledge of ways to make vaslty greater gains than that... I mean, his porting program was able to make his car slower! True skill, amazing accomplishment. Every racer before him could only go faster with no pushrod pinch, but he figured out how to fix that!

I could do this all day... LOL.

Answer the question. You just did what I said not to do. Don’t point a finger saying look over there. Define power.
Not what others are doing.

Derine power.

Is it safe to say that you agree with the point I'm making and not only is it possible its been done many many times.

Nothing in your post addresses whether or not it can or cannot be done with a 302 head.

How much power does it take to accomplish this impressive feat?

Let me guess none of you 2 can come up with HP number to push a 4000 pound car into the 11.8s because......if the number is low then the heads wont need a lot of CFM to support it and if the number is high it makes that little 318 look all the more impressive with heads you say are junk.

Haven't you 2 already figured out that the head will support all the power I already need. Its already doing that and more in a 4000 pound brick.

You all lost this argument long ago but you just couldn't bring yourselves to admit it. Lets now see how you now try and wiggle out of this one.

Post the MPH or shut up.

Post the MPH. Are you hiding something? Either you don’t know the MPH or you know the MPH would show how ignorant you are being.

Define power and post the MPH

109 MPH
