I actually have a local friend ex coworker that used to do upholstery work and still has the equipment. I've done a lot of side work for free for him lately and telling him that I'm going to want these sheets done. I believe if I can come up with the cost of material I'll get most of the labor for free or end up having him show me how to do it!

If you do you should make a video. I'm gonna have to redo mine I'm still trying to decide between my original bench or some cuda buckets I have stowed away. Either way they need new clothes.

I'm hundred and 10% done I have no more words for this! Yellow rose has been back giving advice to people and not even having any kind of word back here about this. Hundred and 10% done! as a matter of fact at this point because of this I don't even want to race yellow rose..
He's already been out here giving advice to people on their projects and not Revisited this announcement.
Not even like personal tragedy or hey guys sorry about that or anything just flat out ignoring the whole situation and waiting for it to blow over? Bull crap! Now you couldn't get me to race them if you paid me.,..

Ummm… J par, good ole' pal ole' buddy, that last two years were drama with two different threads, and pages and pages of drama.

The results are Jburch is seeking professional help, while some, like Cope, have found new life. As many will go through withdrawal, dealing with it silently in their own garages, others will move on and have learned. As for YR, well, he is just as much the mystery man as he was before the show started. :D

Not surprised a race didn't happen; even with the badgering I gave the contestants, sort of a George S. Patton slap to instill some pride in one's self; didn't work.......


This and all related threads should be locked, throw away the key and servers wiped clean...........2019 is coming, maybe something interesting will happen

I'll even apologize to you- sorry about that. I thought I'd be able to give everybody a race here. I mean there's no drama here it's just done.
I'll likely just go back to my own Thread about my own car and go back to posting Time Slips and all that kind of stuff like I always have. The season is over and I'm going out for a drive. Mopar to ya...

Nuff said! Thread was a hoot for sure! Have a great winter, I will go back to trying to stuff a gen 3 in my Demon. Maybe be done by summer as winter is very long in Fargo!

The best thing about this thread was just bs ing with you guys not a big deal the race didnt happen it was fun talking about it....among other stuff. I got in a little late but enjoyed this.

Agreed! Thought I would do one better than the time slip thing and show a pix from any racer on the planets favorite view! Behind the wheel, clearly I was mid correction as my tape was not at high noon!

When I get left lane I just pretend I am in Europe! Always harder to see the tree from left groove! And yes tape is centered! That being said on occasion my enthusiasm allows me to reattach steering wheel off a wee bit negating tape reference anyway! I still get all amped up in waiting line before burn out box. I think when I no longer have that feeling it is time to quit. Nothing better than tearing your junk up next to another guy trying to tear his junk up! In an effort to be totally forth coming I am looking at changing rear end so I can run on street more. Nothing says officer stop me please like a spooled 433 in a corner in town. Thinking about maybe a high three sure grip? I would love any "non track" rearend combos for a 600 plus HP street car. How funny is it really that our sport has evolved to the point a 600 plus HP street car is not that uncommon?
 
jpar, I read on another thread the you hop up/ work on cars for income. I'm confused, I thought you worked on lawn mowers and lay carpet. or was it construction
