In the great X block 340 verses the hillbilly built 408 stroker is past the bench racing and smack talking stage and jpar and I are finalizing plans to make it all come together sometime later in 2018.

Follow this thread for the most current updates and smack talk.

This should be fun!!!!!!
 
I don't know if he is...but you mentioned benchracing and trashtalking, and well, he does that

Don't think I live anywhere near you guys..too bad I've got a stock stroke 360 that would give both those engines some competition..

Oh hell I ain't driving that far but you are welcome to come out here. Probably 2800 mile tow. I think it would be fun.
 
Where's the race going to be held?
What is each car specs IE weight gears transmission?
I would come and watch it if it wasn't too far of a drive.
Both cars being equal and only difference being a power plant I'll take the 408 Stroker.
 
this trip is better than the destination. IF, and i mean IF there is a race, somebody will break and we'll never know anyways. We'll just here how good the barbeque was........

The categories can be who annoys me more! So far I think stroker340-can you show us a picture of your car I forgot what it looked like? It's probably all oily and greasy and not clean like mine.

Exately too far for me too..so I'll vote the well built 340 over the backyard 408 anyday..
