The end is near...

I love my GenIII swap. It’s my car. It’s hotrodding. You probably miss your rotary phone or party line.

WTF are you talking about? What do you KNOW about ring seal? What do you KNOW about tuning anything?

You leg hump the new Hemi like a dime store ***** on coke but WTF do you KNOW? What have you DONE?

Go do something and get back to me about ring seal and ****.

Nah. Can't see why I would want to get back to you about anything.

Hate to break it to you, but despite the number of voices in your head you are only 1 person as well.

Until you actually do something with it, you might as well be an import guy claiming his car is faster because his fart can made it louder.

It probably is bad ***, but all I see is you crowing about it and never doing anything with it.

Sign up for a drag and drive event and then come back and talk about how bad *** it is.

And inferior ring seal, and gas washed cylinders, and weak ignitions. I am sure there are other reasons, too.

And don't say your old school engine has lasted 8 years with only tune ups and minor maintenance even though it is a race engine. Might as well be on an engine stand for the work it gets.
I have multiple trophies and plaques from racing my barracuda so I guess I have to post them on here to prove what I do with my car to you guys now???? I have no real interest in a drag and drive event as I only go into something with the intent to win and at my cars current status it would nit win and also I have close friends that have done it and engine builders that have been involved in it and for a car like mine it is very hard on the valvetrain and lifters and the juice isn't worth the squeeze for me, I never once said my engine has been together 8 years without freshen up or change something up and it is actually the opposite as it is usually 2-3 years it gets gone through and maybe things changed/upgraded. I don't know why you and Blu are so jealous of my car, well actually I guess I do know....it's a bad MF'R , but still try to keep your negative comments about it to a minimum.....also I posted a very very fair race and as usual all i'm hearing is noise from the peanut gallery.

I don't have a dog in this fight, but just for S&G's I was thinking a 3rd Gen could be built out to around 700hp NA and pair that with a early 70's boxacuda @ close to the 3200lb weight and that could be a very intriguing race.

anyway, it's all mental masturbation; nobody is racing nobody in KC for 500 clams.

make it interesting. make it for pinks.
My late father built that car for me initially and 500,000 wouldn't be enough to part from my grips but if 500 won't do it then what do you suggest for a dollar amount.....and what do you know about racing in Kansas City?

How did you know? I mean like seriously I am at this moment searching for and buying up things from my youth as I appreciate that stuff more.....like old pinball machines, old record players, old signs and advertising, basically anything I saw and or was around when I was a teen i'm trying to buy back again as I am disgusted with modern technology for the most part.

I don't know why you and Blu are so jealous of my car...

I guess I haven't communicated things very well.

I don't hate your car, seems like a really nice piece even if it isn't my cup of tea. I don't even hate you. Just seems like you work extra hard to make sure everyone knows who you are, who you know and how much better you are than anyone else.

I am sure you have done more than I ever will. You certainly have more money in your motor than I could afford to spend on this hobby in several years. You probably could be a wealth of knowledge. But when people have to wipe your spittle off their face after you tell them something, I doubt most people can hear you.

And I don't pretend to know Blu well, but I think I know him well enough to know that he wouldn't want your car any more than I would. I expect he would respect it as a quality machine, though. I think his issue is the arrogance of the owner, not the car itself.

Your right......after reading Blu's comment's directed at me over the last few months, and don't even begin to say it's all my fault, I now perceive him as one of the kindest, soft spoken and humble people I have ever conversed with.

for your satisfaction, I'll give you the reply you so crave.

I don't know anything about the KC scene, I'm not from there, but that was a fitting non sequitur. I, however, do know that $500 is an abysmally small amount of money for race challenge. even more so in one that is weighted toward one competitor.

step up and be the Johnny kick-*** you purport to be and make it pinks. otherwise you're just the weak tang we all know you are.

but, keep posting. I find your vitriol to be humous and refreshing in an unexpected way. as in from way over here.

Please explain to me how the offer is biased towards one competitor

Funny thing is that all you non competing racers seem to think that any and all challengers are willing to put their car up for grabs too......I know the obvious reason why the people that say that do but in an effort to be a kinder version of me I will just keep it in my thoughts

I'm not going to pretend that Blu never comes across strongly. But you are another level.

Think of it this way; if Blu were 400 grit sandpaper, you are 80 grit.

Blu generally posts comments with the intent of giving useful info, you on the other hand seem to chase topics around with the intent to make sure everyone know how much you know and how much you hate the G3. Is it any surprise that his reply's to you are already negative when you have done little to help anyone here? Not to say you haven't given good info, but I bet 90% of your remaining posts (because who can forget the ones that were deleted) are nothing more than what this entire thread is. This thread has no redeeming qualities, and you started it with that intent. You might as well have titled it "Look at me and look at how smart I am".

Not understanding basic English punctuation definitely doesn't make you different or a trendsetter.

Yeah, sorry I don't give a single crap about the current displacement of your engine, I'd have to care to know that.

I also don't believe for one second you don't know how much money you spent building it, since pretty much every post you make about your car involves how much money it's worth.

All I was doing is pointing out that you made the rules for your little stunt race so they favored you and your build, and put enough requirements on it you knew it would never happen anyway. Especially since you won't travel. All just so you can say no one will take you up on your offer.

But if the point of your little stunt is actually to prove which is better, the LA or the Gen III, a financial cap makes a lot more sense than requiring it to be N/A. A lot of the improvement in technology that's happened in between is having a supercharged factory engine that will last 100k+ miles without any issues. A lot of the factory LA's from the 70's struggled to make it to 100k even making less than 300 hp. And since the Gen III was likely designed with forced induction in mind, it's not surprising they do so well with it.

And nobody does that kind of a race? Weird, here's one right here...
$3k Drag Challenge - A-body vs B-body

I think most of the automotive magazines out there run engine competitions with a dollar cap, pretty much the same deal isn't it?

And somehow you think that doesn't apply to the Toyota you daily drive?
Since common sense seems to penetrate slowly I will explain more and provide another example....I initially offered any Gen 3 modern car of any factory setup to the drive and race, I was then told why limit it to a modern car....how about a gen 3 in an older car so I immediately said yes within common sense guidelines which are my car is N/A and so that engine has to be N/A and also my car is about 3350 or so with me in it so I stated minimum weight of 3200 with driver, again more than fair, I never stated or expected the gen 3 engine to be stock so what is the problem? West Coast 10.5 N/A heads up racing class which is wildly popular has rules as such......all small blocks can run up to a 29" tall tire and be 2700 lbs minimum weight with steel roof and quarters whereas all big blocks can run up to a 28" tall tire with I believe 2800 or 2850 minimum weight and that is essentially it. Easy, simple and fair.

LOL....whatever.....it's your story and I have more than proved myself to everyone on here and even have a standing offer to race the most overblown POS engine ever built and zero takers so I am still the king. I give great advice all the time but where my advice differs from most others is that I don't blow sunshine and fairy dust up that person's *** when they are clueless and are going to do clueless things and they asked for help because they are clueless and yet ignore the straight to the point factual help and instead listen to those who 90% of the time have no clue but their response also comes with a lubed up palm.

So put it out there, then. after all, you're the one making the rules. if you're so sure of the car and yourself that caveat shouldn't be a restriction to anybody wanting to best you.

I guess I will have to say it for the 48th time......I actually love and respect these old mopar muscle cars and as such i'm not putting my car up over a race with a junkyard Gen 3.....the guys that would put their car up for collateral are the guys who disrespect their cars and care less about history and also as such the lack of respect shows up in their builds. Since you have no car and or engine to race with I don't know why your even bothering me to be honest.

you don't know what I do or don't have. and that's just fine by me.

but really, it's a social experiment at this point.

You still haven't explained to me how the race of either criteria is an advantage to me.....when actually I think the advantage should be to the almighty gen 3 in any factory power adder setup against a lowly old school technology N/A car so please explain

you set the parameters, you know all too well. from what I gather you're a smart guy, nobody should have to list it all out for you.

Let's cut the B.S guys. You at least want his engine.
99.9 % here wouldn't mind having the car.
If you don't, you really aren't a Mopar head.
This B.S. of just enjoying driving an old Mopar is just that bullshit.
It has to have balls, big balls, to represent.

Not an answer but oh well and yeah I set the parameters but guess what so does EVERYONE that offers up a race.....DUHHHHH.....and to appease my top fans on here who think I never drive the Barracuda around I intentionally added the 10 mile drive which is 100% unnecessary to prove my initial point. The parameters are better for the Gen 3 either way someone would take it but what I do know is that there are very very very few that have taken their car to the kind of level it would need to be at to beat me....but that is not biased towards me that is the fault of the 98% gen 3 owners.

Give me til next Monday, then I'll scoot up to the lottery office and collect the $745.9 million cash option, go buy a Hellcat wide body whatever the hell they're selling now, and I'll road trip down to KC and run ya. I'll give you the $500 first, then race! It should be fairly even, your lighter car vs the real pig of an SRT, and power levels should be comparable.

As others have said, your car is nothing to sneeze at, I wish I could have something like that (and maybe I still can), but I bought more cars instead of focusing on one. Hell, the first car I bought has gotten the least amount of attention in my 20+ years of owning Mopars. But I'm just fine rolling Scruffy style, patina and ratty interiors and all. And I have a helluva lot of fun just cruising. Still want my Dart to be a street/strip car, and it's should be something close if I get my *** moving and work on it.

Wish me luck with the lottery!

10 miles? what is this a drive for ants?!??

If that happens we will go out and eat/drink the 500 dollars afterwards and maybe invite a couple Asian massage therapists too, LOL
