Look like the Budget may get blown ehhh??
It alway's does, in my case anyway!
Look like the Budget may get blown ehhh??
Only 700hp Louis?I think you,ll be making more for sure with twins on a 500hp stroker JMO.:toothy10:
I also don,t think budget comes into effect with a build like this(never ending add-ons)It sure will surprise many a Chebbie&Furd owners on the street.Great work Louis!
Cool build! Ryan at Shady Dell built a SB single turbo engine for his own '70 Coronet. He had a thread over on moparts showing pictures of it a while ago.
I remember!!
I was also told on TTF that stroking was irrelevant.. And that was hammered onto me!!
Where did you get the intake info.?
I built a 360 twin turbo with T04s and .96s it has almost instant boost response and is wicked (more like stupid) on the street.
Never had Boost in a Muscle Car, only in a Sand Car and Diesel Trucks etc. I am eager to find out exactly what it will do. Hopefully by going EFI after the tuning is all done it will run its azzzz off!
Just wondering, But why are you going 3.5"-3"-4"?
Oh I see now..The way the one side was bent it looked like the pipes were 3.5". So You are going dual 3" to single 3" to 4" right? Why not just skip the 2-into-1 3" Could you not find the adapter?
Man! Coming along very nicely!!
This thing is going to be a monster.
You gonna Hook us all up with Video of it doing its thang?
You would not believe how hard it is to get Y Pipes etc. The only ones I found were the same size through out the whole Y. :dontknow:
Did you build your own Y pipe or were you able to find it somewhere? I've been looking everywhere and can't seem to find any, so I am planning on making my own unless i can magically come up with someplace. Car is looking sick though and can't wait to see how it performs. Great write-up and attention to deatail man! :thumbrig:
Really like your new Edelbrock intake setup Louis. It's way nicer than that carb hat thingamabob that you were struggling with before. Engine bay looks friggin awsome. Your work is sweet and it shows in the way you've laid out and matched everything side to side. Do you have any plans on taking this beast to the "Mopars at the Strip" come April? It would be a ball buster to get it completed and tuned by then but I sure would like to see it in person. Say hi to Brian from the guys up here in the NW, were bringing the Duster down to Vegas again, with the nitrous hooked up this time!
