How did they tow cars with steep gears with manual trans back in the old days? I can't afford a truck, so my suv with either a towbar or dolly will have to do. Question #2 What do you all think of running 3:23 posi in a 68 fb barracuda with the following combo. 340 030 over 11:1 comp, 245/250 @050 545/550 lift solid cam, ported t/a heads, eddy street tunnelram with 2 600 holley vac secondaries, 4 speed, centerforce dual friction clutch. It currently has 4:56 posi with G60-14 MT Indy profile SS's. I just want to get it back on the road and the 3:23's would be driveable, plus a 3:23 Posi is somewhat affordable. Would I be able to launch it or just destroy the clutch? Would I be able to towbar/dolly it with the 4:56? It's about 65 miles 1 way to the nearest strip. Thanks for the input
